Exhibitor Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions that form part of your agreement with Bribie Island Weddings. Payment of the fee to exhibit in the Bribie Island Weddings event, Bribie Island Wedding Expo, acknowledges that exhibitors agree to these terms.
The term ‘Exhibitor’ is defined by the person or business which intends to or has booked to exhibit, attend, sponsor, or be involved in the Bribie Island Weddings organised event.
1. The Exhibitor has agreed to attend the “Bribie Island Wedding Expo” and to display relevant merchandise in the designated site during operating times specified by the organiser, Bribie Island Weddings. If this requirement is not met, Bribie Island Weddings have the right to refuse application from such exhibitors at future exhibitions.
2. All vehicles on display within the exhibition must remain on site for the full duration as specified by Bribie Island Weddings (or by prior agreement). The exhibitor has agreed to maintain display within the allocated stand area in accordance with safety regulations.
3. Stands must not be dismantled before the conclusion of the event. Failure to do this will result in your business being excluded from future expos.
4. Except as stated herein, Bribie Island Weddings makes no representations, conditions or warranties in relation to the exhibition. Under no circumstance shall Bribie Island Weddings be liable in contract for any indirect, special or consequential damages caused by or arising out of the exhibition or cancellation of the exhibition, and the exhibitor shall indemnify and keep indemnified Bribie Island Weddings against all costs, damages, claims or proceedings whatsoever in respect thereof.
5. The exhibitor will be liable for any damage to walls, floors or equipment of the building the exhibition is being held or any of Bribie Island Weddings material or equipment.
6. Bribie Island Weddings has the right to cancel an exhibitor’s stand prior to each event if required. A full refund may be provided to the exhibitor.
7. Bribie Island Weddings shall not be under any responsibility or liability whatsoever for damages to exhibit by loss, damage, fire, water, storm, strike, riot, terrorist attack or any other cause whatsoever.
8. The exhibitor shall pay the sum specified by Bribie Island Weddings to occupy the site during the term of the event. It is essential the exhibitor fee be paid in full to Bribie Island Weddings prior to the exhibition or attendance will not be permitted.
9. In the event that Bribie Island Weddings have to cancel. Bribie Island Weddings reserve the right to postpone or amend the stated dates of this exhibition (Bribie Island Weddings will give no less than 14 days’ notice of any such postponement).
10. In the event that the exhibitor has to cancel then all fees paid to Bribie Island Weddings is forfeited.
11. Payments are not transferable. Payments are non-refundable.
12. Bribie Island Weddings reserve the right in unforeseen circumstances to re-allocate the space or the location of an exhibitor’s stand and the exhibitor can take no objection or make any claims for compensation or damages in relation to any allocation of the size or the space re-allocated by Bribie Island Weddings. The exhibitor shall not assign or subject any part of the stand space without the consent of Bribie Island Weddings.
13. Exhibitors should be aware that an innovative and dynamic marketing campaign will be implemented for the expo to ensure the events success. Subsequently no responsibility will be accepted by Bribie Island Weddings for the lack of attendance or loss of profit to any Exhibitor if any.
14. The Exhibitor is responsible to ensure all power boards, power cords, power extension leads, power extension boards have been tested and tagged by a qualified electrician within 3 months of the expo date. If electrical items are not tagged with a certified tag, Bribie Island Weddings will provide a certified Test and Tag service for a fee of $6 per item. Electrical items without test and tag certification or fail to pass inspection will be required to be removed from the venue.
15. Exhibitor spaces will not be held or reserved without full payment. Bribie Island Weddings is not responsible for any loss or costs resulting in exhibitors failing to make payment of their exhibitor fee. Expo bookings are NOT secured without full paying of exhibitor fee.
16. Exhibitors cannot promote or display any other business name or business marketing other than the business name registered on the booking. Only one business permitted per booth. Any businesses found to be in breach of this will result in your business will be prohibited from attending any Bribie Island Wedding Expo in the future.
17. Promotional flyers, business cards or any other marketing material is to be placed on patrons vehicles parked in or around the venue. Any businesses found to be in breach of this will result in your business will be prohibited from attending any Bribie Island Wedding Expo in the future and will be removed from any and all post expo promotional material, expo website and social media.
